☝️Each car battery manufacturer marks the production date of their products in their own way. ✔️In this article, we will discuss how to determine the production date of ROCKET batteries.

✋On the top cover of any ROCKET battery, you can find a small inscription made using the hot stamping method on the plastic. This marking is applied by a machine during the production of the battery casing and contains a code that allows you to determine the production date.

⚠️It is important to pay attention to the code: it can consist of ❗9 characters❗ or ❗6 characters❗. Let’s take a closer look at both options.

⛳Code Structure:

DD MM YYYY L

• DD — day of the month (from 01 to 31)
• MM — month (from 01 to 12)
• YYYY — year of production (four digits)
• L — production line code

Code: 16 09 2014 J

• 16 — day of the month
• 09 — month (September)
• 2014 — year of production
• J — production line code

▶️Decoding:

A battery with the code "16 09 2014 J" was produced on September 16, 2014 on production line J.

⛳Code Structure:

The code consists of six characters, where each character has its own meaning:

1. 1st character: The factory where the battery was produced.
   K — Gwangju factory (Gwangju).
   C — Changwon factory (Changwon).
2. 2nd character: Production line.
   Letters from A to Z are used to indicate specific lines in the factory.
3. 3rd character: The last digit of the production year.
   Numbers from 1 to 9, where each corresponds to the last digit of the year (e.g., 3 = 2023).
4. 4th character: Production month. Letters from A to L, where:
   A = January
   B = February
   C = March
   D = April
   E = May
   F = June
   G = July
   H = August
   I = September
   J = October
   K = November
   L = December
5. 5th and 6th characters: Day of the month.
   A two-digit number from 01 to 31, corresponding to the date.

• K: Gwangju factory (Gwangju).
• H: Production line H.
• 3: Year 2023 (last digit of the year).
• G: July (7th month).
• 11: 11th day of the month.

▶️Decoding:

A battery with the code "KH3G11" was produced on July 11, 2023, at the Gwangju factory on production line H.
